Samoa, officially the Independent State of Samoa, is a country comprising a group of islands in the South Pacific Ocean. Previous names were German Samoa from 1900 to 1919, and Western Samoa from 1914 to 1997. It was admitted to the United Nations on 15 December 1976 as Samoa. The entire group was known as Navigators Islands before the 20th century because of the Samoans' seafaring skills. It has a population of 177,000. The capital and major city of Samoa is Apia.

DIRECTOR: Minimum of one Director. Corporations are permitted.
SECRETARY: A Secretary is required. Corporations are permitted.
SHAREHOLDER: Minimum of one Shareholder. Corporations are permitted.
SHARES & CAPITAL: The standard share capital is USD 1,000,000.00. Bearer shares are permitted.
NAME OF THE COMPANY: Must end with one of the following suffixes: Limited or Ltd.; Corporation or Corp.; Incorporated or Inc.; Sociedad Anonima or S.A.

International Samoa Companies are not liable to pay any income or corporation tax.
No requirement to file financial statements, accounts or annual returns with the Samoa authorities.
